About Me

As a long time resident of Broadmeadows, I have worked hard with the community and the council since 2016. I’ve fought hard for better open spaces, recreational facilities and for the basic needs of our community. I believe we deserve the same options and opportunities other residents of Melbourne enjoy.

I share a home with my husband Suraj and our beloved pet, Gemma. I enjoy recreational tennis, taking walks with Gemma, and watching historical documentaries—when I’m not busy reading council papers and addressing the needs of our residents.

Getting Things Done

  • Community Centre at Valley Park Westmeadows
  • Seabrook Reserve
  • Jack Roper Reserve amenity
  • Gibb Reserve Masterplan
  • Jacana Bike Park

Guiding Principles

The council is accountable to residents and ratepayers for the money collected on their behalf. As a council, we must continue to spend ratepayers’ money wisely, with a strong focus on delivering value-for-money services across our city.
